Video preview

ERT journalist Eva Demiri travels to southern Lebanon (8-10/12/1981) and talks with members and leaders of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Initially, she presents two children-fighters of the Organization, twenty-year-old Enaam and fourteen-year-old Walid, who were born and raised as refugees in southern Lebanon. She then goes to the Rashidiye camp where child fighters of the organization are trained and talks to Major Asmi about the daily life of the children there. In the third part of the report, the journalist meets the Deputy Chief of the Palestinian Armed Forces, Abu Jihad. Abu Jihad describes the resistance of the Palestinian forces in the occupied territories and the difficulties faced by the Palestinians. In the last part of the clip, the Leader of the organization for the Liberation of Palestine, Yasser Arafat, is interviewed by Eva Demiri. Yasser Arafet talks about the relationship between Greece and Palestine, the invitation addressed to him by the Greek Prime Minister, Andreas Papandreou, to visit Greece and the semantics of this visit.
