ERT journalist Chryssa Papastavrou describes the incineration of 38,400 acres on Mount Parnitha and the destruction of one of the ten most important protected areas in the country. The ERT helicopter shows aerial shots of the area and the journalist talks about the hundreds of rare species of flora and fauna that were lost due to the fire. Special mention is made of the rare red deer, hundreds of which lost their lives during the fire.
