Dutch

Video preview

A part of the cemetery Rusthof near Amersfoort has been made an honorary cemetery by the Dutch governement for the Russian soldiers that died or were shot during World War II. SHOTS: Long procession of people comes from the cemetery. The ambassador of the Soviet Union, V. Valkov, unveils a monument near the nameless graves which have only been numbered. Soldiers stand to attention; a militairy chapel plays the Russian national anthem(?). The Soviet flag blows up the mast. Wreaths are laid: one by the Dutch soldiers on behalf of Queen Juliana and one by Russian officers. Women lay flowers at the monument; the attendents march past in parting.
