In the Centrale Werkplaats Instructie Middelen (Central Workshop for Instruction Resources) of the Royal Army at Breda a replica has been made of Maastricht during the French occupation between 1748 and 1752. The copy was based on photo’s of the original model of Maastricht during that time, as can be seen in the ‘Hotel des Invalides’ in Paris. SHOTS: aerial shot Maastricht; overview of the scale model with man working on the model; man looks at photo’s and men working on scale model, including sticking windows and doors on houses; aerial shot of the Church Of Our Lady and market square with city hall and a shot of both on the scale model.
