30.000 people demonstrate in the Irene hall in Utrecht against the educational plans of the cabinet Biesheuvel. There is not enough room in the hall for another 15.000 people. With a.o. speeches by chairman Th.M. Knippen of the General Dutch Educational Federation and mrs. Bakker-Tenhagen(?). The crowd sings "Van Veen, ga heen" (Van Veen, go away). Minister C. van Veen of Education and opposition leader Joop den Uyl are present. Because of the commotion, the demonstration has to be ended early.
